We are beyond thrilled to welcome Iryna Kon to the FIA family!
Based in Los Angeles and originally from Belarus, Iryna’s story is anything but ordinary. With a powerful background spanning aviation logistics, emergency response, and clinical medicine, she is now carving a path toward space medicine — one driven by purpose, courage, and curiosity.
Currently finishing her LVN training while preparing for the NCLEX, Iryna’s passion lies at the heart of human physiology in extreme environments. She’s fascinated by the effects of space on the body: from neurobiology and bone density to psychological resilience and skin adaptation in microgravity.
What makes Iryna’s journey so special is how she’s connecting science with storytelling. At FIA, she will be leading our global outreach, collecting and sharing the personal journeys of pioneers, students, and space dreamers across the world. Her mission is to bridge disciplines, celebrate voices, and ignite imagination — especially in fields like aerospace medicine that often go untold.
We’re honored to have someone with such heart, vision, and experience on our team. Welcome, Iryna — the future of space is human, and your voice will help shape how it’s heard.
